Elevation Networks
Elevation Networks (EN) is a student-led social enterprise that aims to bridge the gap between underrepresented groups within communities and industry. We seek to inspire, challenge, and positively influence a generation of young people into a belief system that challenges the impossible, overcomes barriers, and provides a gateway for aspirations to become tangible goals. We as a network believe that everyone’s dream is important...
The underlying ideology behind Elevation Networks is the concept of networking. We seek to target young people within society where the opportunity to network is not being fully utilised and appreciated - such groups include ethnic minority communities, lower profile universities, women and people with disabilities.
We aim to create a networking platform that will propel young people into their future careers - whether as young professionals or as budding entrepreneurs. We seek to make students more employable as well as to encourage innovation and enterprise in young people throughout the
UK.
Positive Role Models
At Elevation Networks, we strongly believe in the power of positive role models. By this, we mean individuals who young people can relate to, who share their background, and who have or are making strides to ensure a good life for themselves.
Today, there are too many sources of negative imagery that young people are subjected to and too often replicate. We believe that by showing a different reality - one where hard work pays off - a ripple effect can occur within today’s society.
We recognise that it’s simply not enough for young people to get into higher education. They also need a strong support network, too. This is why we at Elevation Networks are intent on building a network to educate and support young people. We aim to create a networking environment that brings together students, graduates, entrepreneurs and business practitioners, in a unique environment where they can receive tips, advice and insight from individuals at the forefront of certain industries.

Networking enhances a student’s future career prospective as well as allowing individuals to gain an in- depth insight into specific careers. The ability to network allows students to meet other individuals and establish relationships that could aid them in their career options.
Having the ability to network with employees at the forefront of certain industries provides you with a unique ability to gain a more tangible, face to face experience of what a job role entails and also allows you to gain personal insight from current employee’s experiences; rather than reading the generic information documented online.
EN also has a social side, too. We host loads of fun, social events and our site also provides memebers with the opportunity to upload music and watch the latest videos. Some additional reasons why students should get involved with Elevation Networks are as follows:
